Altar Society - Rectory 946-6717

Twelve teams of parishioners - men, women and families - are responsible for keeping the church clean.  The teams meet during their assigned month, usually once a week, to do light cleaning of the church.  There are two general cleanings with as many members as possible.  One is before Christmas; the other is before Easter.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word - Jim Ebone 947-7925

This is a program for children in grades 1 - 6 at the 10:00 AM Mass on Sunday.  The objective of this program is to proclaim the Sunday Readings at the level of the children's understanding.  The children enter church with their families, are sent forth after the beginning blessing and rejoin their families in church at the Preparation of the Gifts.  No registration is required.

Eucharistic Ministers - Jody Doerhoff 947-0070

This ministry assists with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at weekend Masses, Holy Days and special events.  Persons who with to become Eucharistic Ministers submit their names to the Pastor.  With his approval, names are submitted to the Archdiocese.  Training and commissioning follow the approval.

Gift Bearers - Sacristan

Individuals and families are asked to present the bread, water and wine with the Gifts of Treasure at the Presentation of the Gifts during Mass.  Sacristans choose volunteers for weekend Masses, holidays and special events.  If you would like to present the Gifts, ask the Sacristan who is setting up for Mass.  No special training is necessary.

IMPACT - Brad Hood 669-6723 or 946-6717 ext. 223

Our parish offers a youth ministry that reaches the needs of our youth in grades freshman through senior year in high school and young adults.  Led by a core team of adults, programs are designed for spiritual and emotional growth.  The ministry offers social activities, opportunities to serve the community, and events as a whole.  Our main goal is to build a foundation on Christian values and Catholic teachings.  This goal is achieved by Sunday NOON youth Mass followed by weekly meetings where young people gather in an accepting environment of their peers to find support and encouragement.  Gatherings are informal and have a wide range of topics.  There are no dues to belong, nor do youth have to attend everything that is offered.  The only requirement is a willingness to be supportive to every youth in the group.

Lectors - Tony Vogel 947-3475

The mission of this group is to faithfully proclaim the gospel of the Lord at all weekend Masses and Holy Days.  There are currently more than 75 parishioners who lend their talents in this endeavor.  The recent addition of teenagers to this ministry program was a success over the past year as was the scheduling of two lectors at each Mass. Both practices will continue over the course of the next year allowing for an increase in the frequency of participation by each lector.

Liturgy Committee - Jody Doerhoff 947-0070

This committee is comprised of parish members who meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Rectory Basement to discuss and plan the liturgy for each liturgical season and major feasts of the liturgical year.  The committee works with the parish priests, music ministers and lectors in an effort to enhance the prayerfulness of church celebrations.  The committee also meets to coordinate any concerns of all of the liturgical ministries of the parish.

Music Ministry - Mary Poettker  441-6642

The purpose of this group is to coordinate the liturgical music of the parish and to enhance our prayers in sound and song.  Choirs lead the parish in singing both traditional and contemporary music, accompanied by a variety of musical instruments, thereby fostering a deeper sense of God's presence through the appropriate liturgical theme.

Perpetual Adoration - Madonna Ringwald 946-2568

In the chapel, located behind the sanctuary of the main church, the Blesses Sacrament is perpetually exposed.  The Perpetual Adoration chapel offers parishioners a place for quiet prayer, reflection and adoration.  The chapel is accessible twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.  To obtain the nighttime keypad code, call the Rectory.

Prayer Chain - Sue Dolphus 939-9968

The prayer chain is composed of a group of parishioners who pray for the needs of other parishioners, families and friends.  Prayer requests can be made at any time.  Each person on the chain calls another to pass on the prayer request.  All are welcome to join.

Sacristans - Jody Doerhoff 947-0070

Individuals who prepare the altar for worship before weekend and holyday Masses.  Training is provided.

Servers - Father Neuner 946-6717

This ministry is open to all youth from 5th grade to 8th grade who have received their first communion. Serving at Mass and assisting the priest at the altar is a special privilege.  Training for this ministry is offered once a year by Father Neuner.
