As the holiest time of the Christian Calendar has arrived, I pray that for each of us the Most Sacred Triduum (“the Three Days”) may be special time of grateful reflection, renewed conversion, and fruitful celebration of the deepest mysteries of our Faith in Christ Jesus.

On March 29th, Holy Thursday, the Mass of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at 7:30 PM, with the “Mandatum”--the ceremony of the Washing of the Feet—and anyone seated on the center aisle that night will be invited to partake of this ancient and venerable custom.

This Mass will conclude with a procession of the Blessed Sacrament followed by a period of adoration at the repository in the vestibule until 10:00 PM.

On March 30th, Good Friday, we will make Mary’s Way of the Cross at 12 Noon, followed that evening by the celebration of the Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion at 7:30 PM, with the Passion of St. John, veneration of the Cross, and reception of Holy Communion.

On March 31st , Holy Saturday, the Solemn Vigil Mass of the Lord’s Rising will be celebrated at 8:00 PM with the blessing of the Easter Fire, the Paschal Candle, the Easter Water, the Sacraments of Initiation for our new Catholics and the Renewal of Baptism for the rest of us.

On April 1st , Easter Sunday, the Great Festival of the Lord’s Resurrection will be celebrated at 6:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM and 12 Noon with the Renewal of Baptism. May you find many blessings in Holy Week! Father Bob Burkemper
